Photography Using the Assist Light
You can use the assist light to illuminate your subject when you are
shooting in dark locations.
1. Press the
button.
The assist light on the front of the camera lights.
When the assist light is turned on, the assist light icon appears on the
screen.
When the assist light is turned on, press the
button to turn it off.
Creating Chapters
While you are shooting a video, you can create a chapter at any point.
Chapters are units used for splitting a video into multiple segments.
Creating chapters allows you to quickly check the content of a video or skip
to the beginning of a particular scene or segment during playback.
1. Press the CHAPTER button during video recording.
The section of the video up until you pressed the CHAPTER button
becomes one chapter and the subsequent video is the next chapter.
You can create up to 20 chapters in each video title.

Setting the camera to auto mode automatically turns the assist light off.

In auto mode, the CHAPTER button is disabled and videos are
automatically divided into 5 chapters when video recording ends.
