Error Messages
The messages listed below may appear on the screen to indicate an error
or status.
Message Explanation
NO IMAGE There are no images on the specified drive or
album.
NO STILL IMAGE There are no still images on the drive specified in
the PictBridge settings.
NO AVAILABLE
MEMORY
There is no available space on the specified
drive.
NO CARD There is no SD card inserted.
CANNOT USE THIS
CARD.
The card used is damaged or incompatible.
THIS CARD IS NOT
FORMATTED.
The SD card is not formatted.
CARD IS LOCKED You attempted to write data to a locked card.
PROTECTED IMAGE You attempted to erase a protected image. Or,
you tried to insert a chapter break in a protected
video.
SOME FILES COULD
NOT BE ERASED
You attempted to erase an album or erase all
images, but the specified album or drive contains
one or more protected images.
NO IMAGE
SELECTED
You confirmed an operation (erase, protect,
copy, print, create disk list, etc.) without selecting
any images for the operation.
NO ALBUM
SELECTED
You confirmed an operation (erase, protect, save
to, etc.) without selecting an album for the
operation.
CANNOT OPERATE
IN AUTO MODE
You pressed a button that is disabled in auto
mode.
FILE NUMBER IS
FULL
There is already an image numbered 1,000 in
the album you are copying to.
ALBUM NUMBER IS
FULL
You have reached the maximum number of
albums that can be created on a drive (999).
THE NUMBER OF
CHAPTERS IS AT
MAXIMUM
You have reached the maximum number of
chapters that can be created in a video (20).
CANNOT RECORD
ANY MORE
You have reached the maximum number of
images that can be saved in a drive (9,999).
CANNOT RECORD
ANY MORE IN THIS
ALBUM
The number of images in the album has reached
the limit of 1,000.
