Connecting with the HDMI Cable
Use this procedure to connect the camera to a TV
using an HDMI cable (available commercially). This
allows you to view digital high-definition video.
1. Connect the camera to the TV with the HDMI cable.
Connect one end of the cable to the HDMI output terminal on the
camera and the other end to the HDMI input terminal on the TV.
Connecting with HDMI-CEC
When you use an HDMI cable to connect the camera to a Toshiba REGZA
LCD TV that supports the “REGZA Link” function, HDMI-CEC allows you to
use the REGZA’s remote control to play back images on the camera.
Preparation
Set [HDMI-CEC] ( p.107) to [ON].
1. Set the camera to playback mode ( p.30).
2. Connect the camera to the Toshiba REGZA LCD TV with an HDMI
cable.
Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI output terminal on the
camera and the other end to the HDMI input terminal on the Toshiba
REGZA LCD TV.
MEMO
The HDMI output terminal on the camera is a mini HDMI (type C)
terminal. When you purchase the HDMI cable, ask for one with a mini
HDMI (type C) terminal on one end.
Ensure that the HDMI cable carries the HDMI logo.
Video recorded with [x.v.Color] (
p.76) set to [ON] should only be
viewed on a Toshiba REGZA LCD TV that supports x.v.Color.
