If you set the LCD monitor in the backward-facing position (
p.17), the
image is displayed reversed left to right, like the image in a mirror.
However, using any of the camera buttons or keys temporarily changes
the image back to normal.
Video recording uses up battery charge more quickly than still image
photography.
When you focus the lens (
p.60) or use the zoom lever (
lens operation noise emitted during lens or zoom movement may be
recorded in the video.
The maximum size for a single video file is 4GB*. When the file size
approaches 4GB during video recording, a countdown begins on the
screen 10 minutes before the limit is reached. If you just continue
shooting, the camera automatically stops shooting the video, creates a
video file and then resumes shooting (consecutive recording). The size
of the created video file will be slightly less than 4GB.
You can shoot up to 8 consecutive recording files, or up to 4 hours of
video. Recording automatically stops when either of these limits is
reached. Files recorded consecutively are handled by the camera as a
single title.
If you use the bundled “ImageMixer™ 3 for TOSHIBA” (
software to play back video titles recorded consecutively, video
playback may stop momentarily at the transitions between files.
