Dividing Videos into Chapters
You can divide a video into chapters at any point either while the video is
playing or while it is paused.
Inserting a chapter break immediately before an important scene makes it
easy to locate that scene again when you play the video.
1. Play the desired video.
In playback mode, press the OK ( ) button.
If you set [VIDEO PLAYBACK GUIDE] to [ON] in [DISPLAY SETTINGS]
in the play menu, the video playback guide is displayed. Select [YES] or
[NO] and begin video playback.
2. Pause at the scene where you want to insert a chapter break.
At the scene where you want to insert a chapter break, press the OK
( ) button.
You can quickly locate the best scene by using the jog dial to move
forward or back one frame at a time.
3. Press the CHAPTER button.
Press the CHAPTER button.
4. Select [YES].
Move the OK ( ) button left to select [YES] and then press the OK ( )
button.
