Connecting with the Component Cable
Use this procedure to connect the camera to a TV using the bundled
component cable. This allows you to view analog high-definition video.
1. Connect the camera to the TV with the component cable.
Connect one end of the component cable to the component video
terminal on the camera and the other end to the component input
terminal on the TV.
2. Connect the camera to the TV with the AV cable.
Connect one end of the AV cable to the A/V OUT terminal on the
camera and the other end to the audio terminals (red and white) for the
video input terminal on the TV.

MEMO
Depending on the TV model, the buttons available on the remote
control will differ. Some of the buttons shown in the table may not be
available.
The HDMI-linked functions can only be used in playback mode.
The play menu cannot be displayed in the HDMI-linked functions.
For information on the TV settings for the HDMI-linked functions, refer
to the instruction manual for the TV.
MEMO
The component cable only provides video output. To output audio, you
need to connect the AV cable audio terminals (red and white).
