Performing XP Remote Web Console Operations 75
3-3 Editing the User Account List
You must log on either as a storage administrator with superuser authority or a storage partition administrator
with superuser authority to edit the user account list.
Users without superuser authority are permitted to view part of their user information and change their own
passwords (see section 3-4-5).
All users of the XP Remote Web Console must be registered in the user account list of the connected subsystem
(SVP) to log on and use the XP Remote Web Console Java™ applet program.
The operations for editing an XP Remote Web Console user account list include:
•
Adding user entries (see section 3-3-3 )
•
Changing user entries (see sections 3-3-4 and 3-3-5
•
Deleting user entries (see section 3-3-6
When making any of these configuration changes, you must save the configuration by following the steps in
section 3-7. This is important, because you need a backup in case there is an SVP failure on the subsystem.
Table 3.7 shows the information that is registered in the user account list.
