Alarm call list

Use this window to set the way you want
this Chatter™ Data Logger to deliver
alarms to a recipient.

See below for a detailed description of
each part in this pane.

Alarm call type

You must select one of the four call types:

Call type

Description

Not in use

This entry in the call list is not used

SMS message

This Chatter™ Data Logger sends alarms in an SMS message to the phone number in the
field Recipient number or IP address

SCADA via GPRS

This Chatter™ Data Logger sends alarms to a SCADA system at the IP-address in the field
Recipient number or IP address

SCADA via dial up

This Chatter™ Data Logger sends alarms to a SCADA system via a dial up connection to the
phone number in the field Recipient number or IP address

Recipient number or IP address

Select an existing recipient or select an empty position in the list and enter a new recipient.

Recipient

Description

SMS message phone
number

A maximum of four telephone numbers for recipients of SMS messages. The phone
number can be an international number, +4599999999, or a domestic number, 99999999.
The phone number can not be longer than 32 characters
Select an existing telephone number or select an empty position in the list and enter a new
telephone number.

SCADA via GPRS

One or two IPv4 addresses for the SCADA system.
The address must be in the form like this: 192.168.1.100:5001, the :5001 identifies the
TCP-port at the address 192.168.1.100 where the SCADA system listens for data.
This IPv4 address can be either a public or a private address, depending on the network
you want to access,

If you are using two IPv4 addresses for SCADA via GPRS, you cannot use the SCADA via
dial up function.

SCADA via dial up

One or two telephone numbers for the SCADA system modem. The phone number can be
an international number, +4599999999, or a domestic number, 99999999. The phone
number can not be longer than 32 characters
Select an existing telephone number or select an empty position in the list and enter a new
telephone number

If you are using two telephone numbers for SCADA via dial up, you cannot use the SCADA
via GPRS function.
