5.3.7 WAN Backup (Prestige)
To change your device’s WAN backup settings, click WAN > Backup. The screen appears as
shown.
Max Idle Timeout
(Appears when you use
PPPoA and PPPoE
encapsulation) Specify an idle time-out in the Max Idle Timeout field when you select
Connect on Demand. The default setting is 0, which means the Internet
session will not timeout.
Zero Configuration Select this if you want the device to automatically try to configure the
Internet connection. See the device’s User’s Guide for more information.
Subnet Mask (Appears
when you use ENET
ENCAP encapsulation) Enter the subnet mask provided by your ISP.
ENET ENCAP Gateway
(Appears when you use
ENET ENCAP
encapsulation) Enter the IP address of the gateway provided by your ISP.
Apply Click Apply to save the changes.
Reset Click Reset to begin configuring this screen afresh.
