20 Configuration | System menu
Use the Configuration menu to configure system, network, port, audio, local keypanel, user
preferences, and advanced settings.

Use the System menu to access the Intercom Name screen.

20.1 Intercom name
Use the Intercom Name menu to assign a name to the Intercom system. Intercom names can
be 4-, 6-, or 8-character names, giving the user an option for name length.

Notice!
The 8 Unicode field cannot be changed at the device. To make changes to the 8 Unicode field,
use the AZedit configuration software.

4 Character Field
Use the 4 Character field to enter a four character intercom name.
6 Character Field
Use the 6 Character field to enter a six character intercom name.
8 Character Field
Use the 8 Character field to enter an eight character intercom name.
8 Unicode Field
The Unicode field displays the 8-character Unicode intercom name. This field is not editable. If
the Unicode name is the same as the 8-character name, any changes to the 8 Character field
ripple down to this field.
