unlatched when the footswitch releases. In this mode, the footswitch is a one-time operation.
Pressing the footswitch turns the keys on and releasing the footswitch turns the keys off,
unlatching them so the keys are unable to come on again with the next press of the
footswitch. To use the footswitch again, the desired keys must be re-latched.
A footswitch is a foot-triggered switch used to activate keypanel keys. OMS provides two
methods for activating the footswitch feature:

Opto-isolated input #1 on the GPIO terminal block, located on the rear panel.

By default, the footswitch is disabled.

Enable Footswitch Check Box
The
Enable Footswitch
check box determines whether to enable the footswitch for the
device.
Unlatch Keys on Release Check Box
The
Unlatch Keys on Release
check box determines whether latched talk keys become
unlatched when the user releases the footswitch.

Show Panel Volume Check Box
The
Show Panel Volume
check box determines whether the speaker/headset volume window
permanently displays, otherwise the window only appears when adjusting the volume.
