Compression Field
Use the
Compression
field to change the audio's dynamic gain, meaning audio above the noise
gate threshold changes according to the compression ratio selected. The compression
changes the dynamic range of the mic input. In other words, loud sounds soften, while soft
sounds amplify.
Available options are:

Speaker Section
The
Speaker
section configures the panel speaker.
Mode Field
Use the
Mode
field to select the state of the panel speaker.
Available options are:
Disabled
Enabled
Switched (default) When set to Switched, the Mic Sel key controls the state of the panel
speaker.
Dim Volume Field
Use the
Dim Volume
field to set the dim volume for the panel speaker. When a talk key is
enabled, the speaker volume will be reduced by the dim amount to reduce the echo and
feedback.
Min Volume Field
Use the
Min Volume
field to set the minimum volume level, in dB, for the panel speaker. This
is the minimum volume level available when using the main volume control knob, located on
the front of the device.
Max Volume Field
Use the
Max Volume
field to set the maximum level, in dB, for the panel speaker. This feature
prevents incoming audio being too loud.
The range for this field is Mute, -48 dB to +10 dB.
The default setting is +10 dB.
