Relay
Use the
Relay
screen to configure Relay definitions and options.
Relay definitions must be made for each input port and an output port. The associated relay
activates when the input port and output port crosspoint closes. If there is only an input port
definition or an output port definition, but not both, the definition is incomplete and the relay
does not activate. In addition, UPL statements can activate relays.

ISO
Use the
ISO
(Isolate) screen to configure settings for ISOs in the intercom system. ISO is a
means for a keypanel operator to isolate a particular intercom port for private communication.
While the intercom port is isolated, it only hears audio from the keypanel operator. In
television broadcasting, it is typical to ISO a member of the camera party line. The isolated
camera can then receive directions without disruption from other audio traffic on the party
line.
