If the problem cannot be resolved with the corrections that are given in Checking the Switch Settings (page
5-13) to Communications Stopped during Message Communications (page 5-36), perform troubleshooting
with the following table.

Check the specifications of the
device that is used as the remote
station.
The addresses of the
registers to read/write
from the local station to
the remote station and

read/write from the
remote station to the
local station are incon-
sistent.
