Configure ASK Location: MDI server
Configure ASK Location: MDI server
The ASK location tells the MDI server where to look for the ASK service, which runs
on the MediaFrame server. The function of the ASK is to store the location of the
software components in the system, so the components can find one another.
1. Select Programs | MediaFrame Config and select the MDI Configuration tab.
2. Enter the name of the MediaFrame server.
3. Port 9010 is required. Do not modify. See “Ports and services mapping” on
page 47 .
It is not necessary to restart a service to put these settings into effect.
