Control Interface
The multi-functional capabilities of the Envizio Pro and Envizio Pro II mean that the field computers are
capable of interfacing with several different product application systems. To function properly in any one of the
possible systems, the field computer must be setup to receive application information from the correct source.
The following sections describe the options displayed on the Control Interface screen and will help with
selecting the appropriate product control and boom master options for the system.
Note:
Once initial startup and calibration is completed, the Control Interface screen is available within the
Tools menu. See Chapter 7, Tools Menu, for more information about the Tools menu.
When the control interface options are set correctly for the system, touch the ‘Next’ icon to display
the Setup Wizard Menu. One or more additional wizards may be required before the initial setup of
the field computer is complete.
Product Control Options
The product control options configure the Envizio Pro or Envizio Pro II to monitor or control product application,
coverage or harvest operations. The following options are available for use on the field computer:
•
None - Select ‘None’ if the field computer will not be controlling product application or interfacing with a
Raven console through a serial connection.
•
Raven Serial Console - This option is used when the field computer is connected to another Raven product
control console, such as a Raven SCS 440/460, via a serial connection.
In this configuration, the field computer will monitor and display application information sent from the Raven
console.
•
Raven CAN Console - This option is used when another control console will be used to control product
nodes on the CANbus.
In this configuration, the Envizio Pro or Envizio Pro II will only monitor and display application information
sent over the CANbus.
Note:
Control inputs must be made via the CAN control console. The Envizio Pro or Envizio Pro II
product control features will not be available during application.
