The expansion card PosI/O-AIO also has 2 analogue inputs and 2 ana-
logue outputs (monitor outputs). The functions can be set in the com-
missioning software.

The expansion card can be used to implement:
 Electronic gearing in Master-Slave mode
 Connection to a stepper motor control system with 5 V signal
Electronic gearing, Master-Slave mode
Functions:
 Max. 17 servo amplifiers can be interconnected
 Max. 16 servo amplifiers can be activated by a Master as Slaves
 Connection to terminal X5
 Cutoff frequency: 1.5 MHz
Parameter setting:
 Setting for Master: Output of position at terminal X5 in the "Encoder
Emulation" window
 Setting for Slave: In the "Electronic gearing" window (GEARMODE)
Connection to a stepper motor control system with 5 V signal
Function:
 Connection of the servo amplifier to a stepper motor control system
with 5 V signal
 Connection to terminal X5
 Cutoff frequency: 1.5 MHz

A maximum of one expansion card PosI/O or PosI/O-AIO may
be used in a PMCprotego D.
