Expansion card PMCprotego S1, PMCprotego S2 4- ][Funktion_Erw_protego_S
The expansion cards PMCprotego S1 and PMCprotego S2 are available
as accessories.

The safety card monitors safety functions in accordance with EN 61800-
5-2. It monitors safe motion sequences on drives, which are safely
brought to a stop and shut down in the event of an error.
The safety card is built into a servo amplifier PMCprotego D. This con-
verts the servo amplifier into a safe servo amplifier.

4.4.2 Expansion card I/O-14/08
Expansion card I/O-14/08 4- ][Funktion_Erw_I_O_14_8_protego_D
The expansion card I/O-14/08 is available as an accessory.
Functions:
 14 additional digital inputs and 8 digital outputs
 The function of the inputs and outputs can be configured in the com-
missioning software.
 The inputs initiate the motion tasks that are stored in the servo ampli-
fier.
 The outputs signal the status of the integrated position controller to
the higher level control system.
 The functions of the inputs and outputs correspond to the functions
that can be assigned to the digital inputs and outputs on connector
X3 of the servo amplifier.
 The inputs and outputs are isolated from the servo amplifier through
optocouplers.
