^ (Panic ilarm): The remoie keyiess entry transm^ner
comes equipped with an instant panic alarm. To use
(he a(arm^ press the horn symbol when the ignition
is Jgrneii off. The horn wifi sound and both tho interior
and exterior larnps will flash for up to thirty seconds. To
stop the Inslflnl panic alarm, press lha panic button
again, waiJ for Ihirty seconds, or start the vehicta,
H (Cargo Door): Press liiia hulton (o unlock the cargo
doors only.
Matching Transmitter(s) to Your
Vehicle
Each remoiE keyless entry iransmittcr is coded lo
prevent another transmitter trom unlocking your vehicle.
If a iransmiiter is lost or stolen, a replaceraenl cart
be purchased through your dealer. Remember to bring
any ramaming transmitters with you wh&n you go lo
your dealer. When the dealer matches lha ropiacemenl
transmitter lo your vehicle, any remaining transmitters
must also he malched. Once your dealer has coded Ihe
new Iransinilter, the lost transmitter will not unlock
your vehicle. Each vehjete can have a maximum ol four
transmitters matched to it.
Resynchronization
Resynchrontzation may be necessary due to the
secunly melhod used by liirs system. Tho transmitter
does not send the same signal twice to the receiver. The
receiver will r>ot respond lo a signal that has been
sent previously, Trris prevents anyone from rocordirig
and playing back Ihe signal from the irarrsmitler.
To resynchroniie your transmitter, stand close to your
vehicle and press and hold the LOCK and UNLOCK
buttons on the transmitter al the same time for seven
seconds. The door locks should cycle to confirm
synchronizalion. If the ipehs do not cycle, see your
dealer for service.
