Engine Fan Noise
Vnur vehicle has a clutched engine cooling Ian. When
Ihe clutch ts engaged, the fan spins fasler to provide
more air to cool the engine. In most everyday driving
condilions, Ihe tan is spinning glower and the clutch Is
not fully engaged. This improves fuel economy and
reduces Ian noise. Under heavy vehicle loading, irailet
lowing and/or high outside tomperaluies, Ihe fan
speed increases as the clulch more fully engages. So
you may hear an Increase In fan noise. This is
normal and should no! be misiaken as ihe transmission
slipping Of n>al
when additional cooling is not required and the clutch
partially disengages.
Vou may afso hear Ihis tan noise when you start tha
engine. It will go away as The Ian clutch partially
disongages-
Power Steering Fluid
The power steenng fluid reservoir Is located In the
engine compartmeni on ths driver's aide of the vehicle.
