Setting the Tone (Bass/Treble)

AUDIO: Ta adjust the t>ass and the ireble, press and
release the AUDIO bultdn nepeaKjdly until BAS or
TRE appears on the display. Then press and hold the
up or the down arrow to increase or to dscroase, if
a station fs weak or noisy, you may want to decrease
the treble.

To ad|ust bass or treble to the middle position, select
0AS or TRE. Then press and hold the AUDIO button for
more than two seconds until you hear a beep. B and
a jero or T and a isro will appear on the display.

To adjust both lono controls and both speaker controls

to the middle position^ first end oul o! audio mode
either by pressing anothar bution, causing the radio to
perform Ihat function, or by waiting five seconds for
the display to return lo lime ot day. Then press and hold
the AUDIO button for more lhan two seconds unlil

you hear a beep, CEN will appear on the display.

Adjusting the Speakers (Balance/Fade)

AUDIO: To adiusl the balance hetwean the right

and the left spoaknrs, press and release Ihe AUDIO
biitlon unlit BAL appears on the display. Then press and
hold Ihe up or the down arrow to mo^e the sound
toward the righi or ihe left speakers.

To adjust the fade between ihe troni and the rear
speakers, press and release the AUDIO bulton until

FAD appears on the display. Then press and hold the up

or (he down arrow Ю гтюуе the sound toward ihe front
Of Ihe rear speakers.

To adjusi balance or fade to the middle position, select

BAL or FAD. Then press and hold AUDIO for more

than two seconds unlil you hear a beep. L and a гего
or F and a гегга will appear on the display.

To adjust both tone controls and both speaker controls
to Ihe middle posilion, first end out ot audio mode
either by pressing another button, causing ilie radio lo
perform that funclion, or by waiting five seconds for
Ihe display lo rs-tum to time of day. Thor press and hold

AUDIO for more than two seconds until you hear a
beep. CEN will-appear on the display.

Radio Messages

CAL ^Calibration): Vgur audio system has been
calibrated for your vehicle from the factory. II CAL
appears on the display h means that your radio has not
beorí configured properly for your vehicle and musi
be relumed lo the dealership for service.

LOC (Locked): This message ia displayed when ihe
THEFTLOCK* system has locked up. Vou must return
lo Ihe dealership for service.
