Automatic Transmission Fluid How to Check
When to Check and Change
A good hmq to check your automatic transmission fluid
level is Vi/hen the engine eii le ch^inged.
Change both the fluid and filter every 50,000 miles
(S3,000 km) if the vehjcle's GVWR is over ЗгбОО or it
the vehicle is malnty driven under one or more of these
conditions'
“ In heavy city traffic where Ihe outside lemperafure
regulaly reaches or higher.
• In hilly Of mountainous terrain,
• When doing frequent trailer lowing.
• Uses such as found In lavi^ police or deNvery
service.
It your vehicle's GVWR is not over 3^500 and you do
not use your vohtcle under any of these condilions.
