Restraint System Check
Make sure ihe safety belt remmaer ligtiT and all your
balls, buckles, latch plates, relfaclors and алсЬсгадез

that might keep a sat&ty belt syslem Inom doing fis
job, have it repaired. Have any torn or frayed safety bells
replaced.
Also lûoiî for any opened or broken air bag coverings,
and have them repaired or replaced. [The air bag
system does not need reguíar maintenance.)
Wiper Blatte Check
Inspect wiper blades tor wear or cracking. Replace
blade in&çrls that appear worn or damaged or that
streak or miss areas of the windshield, Also see

Spare Tire Check
At leasi tmrcB a year, after thg monthly Inllalion check of
the spare lire determines that the spare ts inflated to
the correr;t tire inflation pressure, rnake sure that
the spare tke is stored securely. Push, puH, and then iry
to rotate or turn the trre. If it moves, usa the
ratchet-wheel wrench to tighten the cable. See
Changing

Engine Air Cleaner Filter Restriction

Automatic Transmission Check
Check the transmission fluid level; add if needed. See
Automatic Transniission flufú on page 5-21.
