The use of CD Eens cleaner discs is not advised, due to
the risk of contaminating ihe iens of the CD optics
lubricants Internal to the CD mEichanism,
Fixed Mast Antenna
The fixed mast antenna can withstand most car washes
wilhout being damaged. If the mast should ever
become slightly bant, you can straighten it out by hand.
If the mast lis badly bent^ as it might be by vandals,
you should reptece it.
Check occasionally To be sure the masi is still tighlened
to the fender. If tighlening la required, tighten by
hand, then with a wrench one quarter turn.
Chime Level Adjustment
The radio is iha vehicle chime producer. The chime is
produced (fom the drivers side front door speakers
Tn change tho volume level, press and hold
pushbutton 6 with the ignition on and the radio power
ott. The chime volume level wiill change from I he noimel
level to loud, and LOUD will be displayed on the
radio. To change back to the default of normal setting,
press and hold pushbutton 6 again, The chfme level
will change from the loud level to normal, and MORMAL
will be displayed. Each time thg chime vplume is
changed, three chimes will sound to indicale 1he change
Ftemgving the radio and not replacing it with a (actory
radio or chime module will disable vehicle chimes.
