SCAM: Yoi> can also scan Ihrough ihe stgtkjns within a
category by performing the lallawfng:
1. Press Ihe P-TVPE button. P-TYPE and tne last
selected Piy will be displayed an the screen.
2- Select a category by turning the P'TYPE knob,
3. Once the desired category Is displayed, press and
hold either SCAN arrow, and the radio wiliii begin
scanning within your chosen category.
4. Press either SCAN arrow again to stop at a
particular station.
BAND [Atternate Fraqiiency}; Alternate frequency
allows the radio to swKch to a stronger siadon with the
same program type. Press and hold BAND Igr two
seconds
(0 lurn atternaie frequency on. AF ON
wilt appear on the display. Tha radio may switch td
stronger stations. Press and hold BAND again for two
seconds to turn atternaie frequancy off, AF OFF
will appear on the display. The radio will not switch lo
other stations. When you turn the ignition off and then on
again, the alternate frequency feature will automatically
be turned on.
The &\x numbered pushbuttons lei you return to your
favorite PTYs These buttons have factory pty presets.
You can sat up !o 12 PTYs [six FMl and six FM2) by
perfornning the following steps
1. Press BAND to soled FMl or FM2.
2- Press the P'TYPE buttan. P-TYPE and the Iasi
selected pty will be displayed on the screen
3. Select a category by lurning fhs P-TVPE hnab.
4. Press and hold one of the six numbered
pushbultens until you hear a beep. Wherever you
press that numbered pushbutton, tha PTY you
set will return.
