At Least Once a Year Starter Switch Check
Key Lock Cyiinders Service
Lubricate the key lock cylinders with the iubncant
speciffed in Pad D
Body Lubricatior» Service
Lubncale aii hood hinges, hood prop rod pivot, fuel fiilor
door, rear compartment hinge&f latches, locks, hood
latch assembly, secondary (atch, pivots, spnirtg anch□I^
release pawl and any moving seal hardware. Pad D

required when exposed to a corrosive environment,
A CAUTION:
When you are doing Ihis check, the vehicle
could move sudrlenly, II it does, you or others
could be injured. Follow the steps below.
1, Belore you slab, be sure you have enough room
around the vehicle.
2, Flimty apply bûEh the parttmg brake and [tie regular
brake. See Parking Bfuke on page ¿-¿6 if
necessary.
Do nol use the accaleralor pedal, and be ready to
lum off Iho engine immedialely ¡1 il slarts,
3, Try to start the engine in each gear. The stader
should work only in PARK (P) or NEUTRAL (N),
