ALERTIi Alert warne of fooal or nalionfll ernergencies.
When an atari announcemeni comeB on Ihe current
radio station, ALERTf wiil appear on 1he displfly. Vou will
hear Ihe announcement, even if tfie vdume ia muted
Of a compact disc rs playing. |l the compad di&c player
is playing, ptay will stop during the announcemEnl.
You will not be able to turn off alert announcements.

INFO {InformatianJ; II the current station has a
message, INFO will appear on the display. Prass this
button 10 see the mesBage. The imessage may display
the artist and song title, call m phcme numbers, etc.
It the whole message Is not displayed, parts nf It
wHI appoar every three seconds. To scroll Ibrough the
message a( your own speed, press the INFO button
repeatedly. A new group of words will appear on
the display wilh each press. Once the complete
message has been displayed, INFO will disappear from
the display unlil another new message Is neceived-
The old message can be displayed by pressing
Ihe INFO button until
a
n@w message is received or a
different station is tuned to.
TRAF (Traffic): TRAP will appear on the display if the
tunod station bropcteastï traffic announcements. To
receive the Iraffic announcement from ihe lurred station,
press this button. Brackets will be displayed around
TRAF and when a traffic arinouncernenl comes on the
luned radio slallon you wiil heanl.
If Ihe current tuned station doss not broadcast 1 raffle
announcements, press this button and the radio
will seeli to a stalion thal does. When (he radio finds a
station that broadcasts traffic announcements,

Traffic interrupt Feature: Your radio can interrupt the
play of a CD. Press Ihe TRAF button. The radio will
seek to a station thaï broadcasfs iraffic announcemeoEs.
When the radio finds a station lhat broadcasts Iratfic
announcements. It will stop. Brackets around TRAF will
appear on the display. When a traffic announcement
comes on the station thal was found, you will hear
it. Wnen the traffic announcement is over. The radio will
resume play of ihe CD. If no station is found, NO
TRAFFIC will appear cn ihe display.
