To íum off Ihe right front passenger's air bag, insert
your ignition koy into the swctch, push tn, and move the
switch to AIR BAG OFF.
The AIR BAG OFF light iwill corme on lo let yoo know
that the right front passenger's air bag is off. The
right Iront passenger's air bag will remain off unlil you
turn U back on again, and Ihe AIF BAG OFF light
will stay on to reinind you that the air bag is off
A CAUTION:
If the air bag readiness tight ever comes on
when you have turned off the air bag, it means
that something may be wrong with the air bag
system. The right front passenger's air bag
could Inflate even though the switch is offr If
this ever happens, don't let anyone whom the
national government has identified as a
member of a passenger air hag risk group sit
in the right frcnt passenger's position (for
example, don't secure a reardaclng child
restraint in your vehicle) until you have your
vehicle eerviced.
