1. Apply your regular brakes, but don1 shih into
PARK (P) yet. Then turn your wheels into the curb if
lacing downhiil or Into traflic if facing uphill
2. Have someone place chocks under the trailer

3. When ihe wtieel chocks are in place, release the
regular brakas until the chocks absorb the load.
4. Reapply the regular brakes. Then apply your
parking brakg and than shift tp PARK ^P).
5. Rsleass the regular brakas.
When You Are Ready to Leave After
Parking on a Hill
1. Apply your regular brakes end hold Ihe pedal down
while youj
• siah your engine,
• shift into a gear, and
• rplcasa the parking brake.
2. Let uip on Ihe brske pedat.
3. Drive slowly until the traiJer is clear of the chocks.
4. Stop and have somaono prck up and store the
chocks.
