Setting Cruise Control
It you leave your cruise control on whon youVo
not using cruise, you might hit a button and go
into cruise when you don't want to. Vou CDUfd
be startled and even lose control. Keep the
cruise control switch ott until you want to use
cruise control.
1. Move the cruise control switch to on,
2. Get up to Ihe speed you want.
3. Press m the set button at the end oi the lever and
reteese it.
4. Take your foot off Ihe accefaratqr pedal.
The cruise light on the instrument panel will illUTiinate
when Ihe cruise control is engaged.
Resuming a Set Speed
Supi^ose you set your cruise control at a desjred speed
and then you apply the brake. This, of course,
disengages the cruise coniroi. But you don't need to
reset it,
Once yduTe going about 25 mph |4Q km/h) or more,
you can move the cruise coniroi switch from on to
resume/acceierate hrielly.
You’ll go right back up lo youi chosen speed and stay
there.
If you hold the sv/itch at resurrie/accelerale briefly, iha
vehicle will keep going tasier unlil you release the svn'itch
or apply the brake. So unless you wani to go lastar,
don't hold Ihe switch gt resyme/accelerale.
