Audio System(s)
Notice: Before you add any sound oquiprnent to
your vehicle - lihe a t^pe player^ CB radio, mcbile
telephone or two-way radio - ba sure you
can
add what you want. II you can^ it's very iinpartant to
do it properly. Added sound equiprnent may
intarfare with the operation of your vehicle's engine.
Delphi Electronics radio or other systemaH and
even damage tham. Your vehicle's systems may
interfere with the operation of sound equipment that
has been added improperly.
SOr before adding sound equipment, check with
your dealer and be sure to check federal rules
covering mobile radio ard telephone units.

it first. Find out what your audio system can do gnd
tiow to operate all ol its controls lo be sure you're getting

Vour vehicle may have a Feature called Retained
Accessory Power (RAP). With RAP, you can pl^y your
audio
systEfn even alteir the ignition is turned off.

Setting the Time for Radios without
Radio Data Systems (RDS)
Frees and hold the HR or MIN arrow for two seconds.
Then press Ihe HR {down} arrow unlil (he coi rgct
hour appears on the display. Press and hold thOi
MIN [up) arrow until the correcl minute appears on
the display. The Lime may be set wiih the ignition on
or off.
