The discrete position of the valve is displayed as a value (1 byte) with
the following meaning:
0 = not initialized
1 = valve closed
2 = valve open
3 = valve in intermediate state
There is a status for this value too (1 byte)
The checkback is displayed bit–coded in 3 bytes:
