Mode 1-2, Edit Format File
The Edit Format File submode is used to create new format files or edit an existing format
file. Instructions for using Mode 1-2 follow.

Enter a new filename or select an existing

maximum allowed is 99.

Enter the number of lines per page desired.
The maximum allowed is 9,999

At this point, the following parameters can be

set up: data format, field width, and number
of decimal places. A default setting of N6 is
shown for new files. You can edit the setting
as follows: Format = Xn.d
Where:
X = A for alphanumeric data
N for numeric data
F for floating point data
n = Total field width counting the
decimal point
d = Number of decimal places

Enter the string of characters you want to
