2.4 Managing User and Groups
The primary means of managing users is through the Administration program. It allows you to
interactively create, modify and delete users and groups. Administration can also import users from
Active Directory or Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP).
The Userlist Import/Export program allows you to export the entire user list and groups to an XML file,
and import users and groups from XML as well.
2.4.1 User Permissions
Each user has one of three permission levels:
●
Supervisors: The highest level, Supervisors have full control over the fax server. This level
of access is granted when a user is in the Supervisors group.
●
Routers: Routers level users can view the first page of any fax in queue, and can run
reports. Routers cannot change any system setting. This level of access is granted when a
user is in the Routers group.
