4.1 Error Code Reference
4.1.1 4228–4323: Document Conversion
All of these errors are error type DOCUMENT_CONVERSION, and will not be retried.
4228 Could not find a valid file extension
4229 File association not found: Fax server does not have an application to convert this file.
4245 Lost connection to convert process: runcvt.exe died in the middle of converting a document.
4246 Timeout waiting for conversion application to print: The application didn’t print in a timely
fashion. The application is probably prompting for user entry or presenting a dialog box.
4247 Could not rename temporary file for conversion
4248 Failed to call JSD
4249 Exception calling EMP to convert file
4250 Exception calling Leadtools to convert file
4251 File type rejected: File extension rejected because it was in the RejectExtensions list.
4252 Could not access document conversion printer: Could not access NET SatisFAXtion
Document Conversion printer (spooler service isn’t running)
4253 Application not found: Fax server does not have an application to convert this file (application
not found)
4320 DDE Error communicating with conversion application: A request for a synchronous advise
transaction has timed out. DMLERR_ADVACKTIMEOUT
4321 Conversion application was busy: The response to the transaction cause the DDE_FBUSY flag
to be set. DMLERR_BUSY
4322 DDE timeout getting data from the conversion application: A request for a synchronous
data transaction has timed out. DMLERR_DATAACKTIMEOUT
4323 Conversion application DLL not initialized: A DDEML function was called without first calling
the DdeInitialize function, or an invalid instance identifier was passed to a DDEML function.
DMLERR_DLL_NOT_INITIALIZED
4324 Conversion application attempted an invalid DDE transaction: An application initialized as
APPCLASS_MONITOR has attempted to perform a Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) transaction, or an
application initialized as APPCMD_CLIENTONLY has attempted to perform server transactions.
DMLERR_DLL_USAGE
4325 Conversion application did not respond to DDE command in a timely fashion: A request
for a synchronous execute transaction has timed out. DMLERR_EXECACKTIMEOUT
4326 Invalid DDE parameter: A parameter failed to be validated by the DDEML.
DMLERR_INVALIDPARAMETER
4327 The conversion application has used too much memory during DDE: A DDEML application
has created a prolonged race condition (in which the server application outruns the client), causing large
amounts of memory to be consumed. DMLERR_LOW_MEMORY
4328 DDE memory allocation has failed: DMLERR_MEMORY_ERROR
4329 DDE transaction failed communicating with conversion application: Conversion
