3.2 FaxOut Client Suite

The FaxOut Client Suite is a collection of tools that are the most useful to users of NET SatisFAXtion.

Included in this installation are the following tools:

• Microsoft Outlook faxing addin
• FaxOut print to fax, with Print Automation technology
• PopUp Notifier for fax preview and realtime monitoring
• Microsoft Office addin to easily print to fax from any Microsoft Office application

3.2.1 Installing

3.2.1.1 Software Requirements

Operating System: 32bit or 64bit Microsoft Windows operating system.

Windows Server 2008 (all editions, releases and service packs)

Windows Vista Business, Enterprise and Ultimate (all service packs)

Windows Server 2003 (all editions, releases and service packs)

Windows XP Professional SP2 and SP3

Note: Windows 2000 is not supported.

Supported Office Versions: The following Microsoft Office versions are supported:

Microsoft Office 2007

Microsoft Office 2003

Microsoft Office XP

Microsoft Office 2000

Note: Office and Outlook are not required, however the functionality

provided by the Outlook addin and Office add ins will not be available.

Prerequisite Software: The following software must be installed prior to installation

of the FaxOut Client Suite:

Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 2 (*1)

Windows Installer 3.1 (*2)

*1 Windows Vista and 2008 have Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 SP2 installed

by default. It is not visible in the Add/Remove Programs list.

*2 Windows 2003 and newer have Windows Installer 3.1 installed by default. It

is not visible in the Add/Remove Programs list.

3.2.1.2 Installing the FaxOut Client Suite

The installer for the FaxOut Client Suite can be found on the Launchpad website. Go to: Start

Programs

⇨ NET SatisFAXtion ⇨ Launchpad. This will open the Launchpad in the default web browser.
