Confirming the Remaining Tape
Time
During recording and playback, the Remaining Tape
Time Indication O's automatically displayed in the
Finder, so you always know how much time you have left
on the cassette.However, to ensure correct display of the
remaining tape time, the tape length of the cassette
being used must be set correctly on the Movie Camera.

•When recording or playback starts, the Tape Length
Indication disappears, and in its place the [R] Indication
flashes while the remaining tape time is being
calculated. A few seconds later, the Remaining Tape
Time Indication appears. ([R] means Remaining.)
•When the remaining tape time is less than 2 minutes,
the [R] Indication and the Remaining Tape Time
Indication start to flash.
• If you want to confirm the tape length of the inserted
cassette while the Remaining Tape Time indication is
displayed, press the [TAPE] Button. The Tape Length
Indication appears for approximately 2 seconds, and
then the Remaining Tape Time Indication is displayed
again.
•When you use a cassette bearing the [P] mark 0
or other special types of cassettes, the Tape
Counter Indication may not be very precise.
■ Preventing Accidental Erasure of
Recordings
• Recording on a previously recorded cassette erases
the existing scenes and sound.
•To protect important recordings against accidental
erasure, use a screwdriver to break off the tab Q on
the cassette (some cassettes have sliding-type tabs).
•To be able to record again on a protected cassette,
firmly cover the hole where the tab was with two layers
of adhesive tape Q.

Behem nataceni a pfehravani je v hledacku automaticky
zobrazena indikace casu zbyvajici do konce pasku O,
takze vzdy vite, kolik casu na kazete zbyva. Abyste vsak
zarucili spravnost zobrazeneho zbyvajiciho casu na
pasku, musi byt na Video kamefe spravne nastavena
delka pasku kazety, ktera je prave pouzivana. (-► 24)
•Jestlize zacina nataceni nebo pfehravani, indikace
casu zbyvajiciho do konce pasku zmizi a misto ni
zacne blikat indikace [R], zatimco je pocitan cas
zbyvajici do konce pasku. Po nekolika sekundach se
opet zobrazi indikace casu zbyvajiciho do konce
pasku. ([R] znamena Remaining (zbyvajici).)
•Jestlize se cas zbyvajici do konce kazety snizi na
mene nez 2 minuty, indikace [R] a cas zbyvajici do
konce pasku zacnou blikat.
•Jestlize chcete potvrdit deiku pasku viozene kazety pfi
zobrazene indikaci casu zbyvajiciho do konce pasku,
stisknete tlacitko [TAPE]. Phblizne na dve sekundy se
objevi indikace delky pasku a pote se opet zobrazi
indikace casu zbyvajiciho do konce pasku.
•Jestlize pouzivate kazety s oznacenim [P] 0
nebo jine specialni druhy kazet, nemusi byt stav
zobrazeny na pocitadle zcela pfesny.
■ Predchazeni nechtenemu vymazani
nahravek
•Zacnete-li natacet na nahranou video kazetu novy
zaznam, pfedesle sceny vcetne zvuku budou
vymazany.
•Abyste chranili dulezite nahravky proti nahodnemu
vymazani, sroubovakem vylomte ochranny jazycek
zaznamu
0 na kazete (nektere kazety maji misto
ochranneho jazycku posunovaci knoflik).
•Abyste mohli opet natacet na video kazetu s
vylomenym ochrannym jazyckem zaznamu, pevne
pfelepte otvor po ochrannem jazycku zaznamu dvema
vrstvami lepici pasky ©.
