4. Cleaning
You can clean the device.
Cleaning, maintenance and recycling not described here are allowed only for qualified people.
Important
- Do not use benzene, thinner or other cleaning chemicals as they damage plastic parts and
paint.
- Do not use paper towels. They may be attached to the inside of the device to cause static
electricity. Use soft clothes to protect the device surface.
Outer Surface Cleaning
Dip the soft cloth into water or soft cleaner, wring it out completely, and then clean the outer
surface.
Scanner Area Cleaning
If the scanner area is dirty, unwanted spots or lines are printed. Clean the scanner area regularly.
