3.5 Applying Power
Step 1. Reinstall the cover on the drive. The status indicators can
be viewed on the front of the drive after power has been
applied.
Step 2. Ensure that the module will have a unique address on the
network and is set at the correct data rate or to autobaud. If
a new data rate or address is needed, reset the switches
on the module (refer to section 3.2).

ATTENTION: Unpredictable operation may occur if
you fail to verify that parameter settings and switch
settings are compatible with your application. Verify
that settings are compatible with your application
before applying power to the drive. Failure to
observe these precautions could result in severe
bodily injury or loss of life.
