4 Mounting
4.4 Mounting the antenna
The maximum range between transmitter and receiver is 300 m in the open air.
The antenna used and its correct positioning are determining factors for both the operating
range and reliability of the wireless connection. In practice, a wide range of influences affect
the wireless transmission path. For this reason, careful thought should be given to the prevail-
ing conditions at the operating location when selecting the type of antenna mounting.


The lambda/4 antenna supplied as standard can be screwed directly to the receiver in a clock-
wise direction.
