2.2 Operating environment
This section describes the system requirements for using this printing system and the interfaces used for
connection.
2.2.1 Connectable computers and operating system
Make sure that the computer to be connected meets the following conditions.
Windows
Macintosh
Operating System The supported OS varies depending on the type of printer driver. For details, re-
fer to page 3-3.
CPU Any processor of the same or higher specifications as recommended for your
operating system
Memory Capacity recommended for your operating system
With sufficient memory resources for the operating system and application being
used.
Drive CD-ROM drive
Operating System Mac OS 9.2/OS X (10.2.8, 10.3, 10.4, 10.5)
CPU PowerPC, Intel Processor
(Intel Processor must be Mac OS X 10.4/10.5 only)
