Writing to DVD-RAM disc is not successful
Writing to DVD-RAM disc is not
successful
A DVD-RAM disc is set, but no disc information is
presented.
• When using multiple DVD-RAM drives make sure to
select the correct drive in the VRWriter Drive
Selection section.
• Check that the disc recording video in the Video
Recording format is set.
The “Drive D: cannot write the data for the
following reasons.
- A disc has not been inserted in the drive.
- The drive is used by another application.
- The drive cannot be used.”
error message is displayed.
• If some other writing software that supports
DVD-RAM discs is installed in the PC, this software
may not be possible to access the DVD-RAM disc.
In a case like this, either close or delete the
application.
• If the DVD-RAM disc is left opened with Explorer,
VRWriter cannot writes onto the DVD-RAM disc. Exit
Explorer.
If access is attempted with other software, such
as Explorer, to the DVD-RAM drive being used by
VRWriter, an error message, [F:\ is not
accessible. Access is denied.] is displayed. (In
case the DVD-RAM drive is F:.)
• The disc used by VRWriter is not allowed to be
accessed by other applications. This is a
specification of VRWriter.
• This message may appear when you change the
disc after starting VRWriter and the auto play
function is set on Windows
®
XP.
