DVD R/RW output mode
Adjusting the encoder settings and activate
DVDWriter
Set the output settings such as the encoder format, etc.
and activate DVDWriter.

Confirm the data to be output using
.
The video will be displayed on the Preview screen.
• Video clips with a playback time of less than
3 seconds cannot be output to DVD R/RW disc.

, specify the output destination and file
name.
• The output destination can be selected from the
folders ([MaterialFolder] is set by default) registered
in the library.

• For each item, refer to the descriptions on the
input/output setting screen. (
• Click
to check the estimated file size, etc. of the
file to be output.
When still images being output have a long duration,
the accuracy of the estimated file size may be
degraded.

[Creating output file] is displayed in
and data is
created in MPEG2 format. After that, the DVDWriter is
activated.
For operation after the DVDWriter is activated, read
“Setting the DVD Menu and Playback Method”. (
• The created MPEG2 file is also displayed in the
library as a video clip.
• Click [Stop] to cancel the output.
• When you wish to change the data to be output prior
to the output, return to the Edit mode and change the
data on the edit track.
Or, re-select the file on the library and then drag and
drop it on the control screen.
