Preparing a clip in which a title will be inserted
First of all, prepare a clip (file) in which the title will be
inserted.
You can prepare it from the edit track, menu, or library.
Note
` The file formats that the title can be added to are the
MPEG2, BMP, JPEG and TTE formats.
` For the video clip, only the still image in the first scene is
displayed on the edit screen.
` If there is no video clip that the title can be added to, first
capture a video clip in the Input mode. (
` When you wish to insert the title in part of a video clip,
divide the clip in advance. (
Preparing video clip from edit track
Prepare any clip from the edit track in the Edit mode.

Right-click the clip on the edit track, and
select [Title editor].
The operation mode will switch to the Title editor mode
and the first scene of the clip will be displayed on the
edit screen.
• You may accomplish this preparation by selecting the
clip on the edit track and clicking on
in the TOOL
BOX.
Note
` If you cannot set the title because special effects that
cannot be set together with the title are set, you can set
the title by deleting the special effects or turning the clip
into the video file with rendering. (
` If you prepare a clip from the edit track, it is impossible to
delete the clip or replace it with another clip.
