Editing event log notification groups
To edit an event log notification group:
1. From the Tools menu, select Options > Event Log. The Options dialog box appears.
2. Click the Notifications tab.
3. From the Event log notification group dropdown list, select an event log notification group to edit.
4. Click Edit e-Mail Group. The Edit notification group dialog box appears.
5. Edit the event log notification group parameters. For more information see
“
Creating new event log notification groups ” on page 355, steps 4 through 6.
6. Click OK. The Edit notification group dialog box closes and the event log notification group is
edited.
7. Click Close. The Options dialog box closes.
Deleting event log notification group
To delete an event log notification group:
1. From the Tools menu, select Options > Event Log. The Options dialog box appears.
2. Click the Notifications tab.
3. From the Event log notification group dropdown list, select an event log notification group to
delete.
4. Click Remove e-Mail Group. A confirmation screen appears.
5. Click OK. The event log notification group is deleted.
6. Click Close. The Options dialog box closes.
Configuring the event log file
The VSM client enables you to configure the event log file. You can configure the maximum size of
the event log file and what action the VSM client performs when the event log file reaches the maximum
size.
To configure the event log file:
1. From the Tools menu, select Options > Event Log. The Options dialog box appears.
