5.5 Fuses

To reduce the risk of fire, replacement fuses must be of the same type and
rating as the original.

AC INPUT FUSES
Verify that the appropriate ac fuses are present.
In the ac distribution module, the input for each UPS module is protected by a 32A fuse for each
phase, so that each module, including the controller, has 3 fuses (one each for the L1, L2, and L3
phases). Ten modules plus the controller would require 33 fuses, as illustrated in Figure 30. In
the 100 kVA model the fuse receptacles are numbered from right to left.
