Determines which lines of data are used to compute the
Total Lines in the Export. This is used as a checksum or a
comparison value by some Payroll programs. Select Y to
include the lines in the Total Lines checksum.
Line Terminator:
CRLF - Carriage Return Line Feed
CR - Carriage Return
LF - Line Feed
Custom
Custom Line Terminator – appears when Custom is chosen. Enter a single
character that your payroll program treats as a line terminator (the end of a
line of data).
Field Separator:
Tab
Comma
Slash
Semi-Colon
Custom
Custom Separator – appears when Custom is chosen. Enter a single
character that your payroll program treats as the beginning and end of a data
element.
Fixed Length – sets the length of each attribute to a fixed length. When Fixed
Length is chosen a "Fixed Length" column will be displayed in the Properties
Table where each attribute can be set to the required fixed length.
