Cleaning the Developer Assembly and the
Surrounding Parts
The period for cleaning all the parts associated with the Developer
Assembly is every 3,000 pages and at 10,000 pages, or every 6
months. Clean the following parts of the machine when you replace
the toner cartridge or the Drum Unit:
•
Transfer Wire and Discharge Wire —The Transfer Wire and the
Discharge Wire are located under the Developer Assembly inside
the machine.
•
Paper Guide —The Paper Guide is located under the Developer
Assembly inside the machine.
•
Developer Assembly —The Developer Assembly has a Mylar
Sheet below the toner roller.
