was lost Phonebook information was
lost Reprogram the dial data from
the control panel or Control
Centre.
Comm. error - retry The communication did not
end normally. The error occurs only when
direct transmission feature
was selected. Resend the
document again.
Drum life warning The drum counter has
reached 9,000 pages. Replace the Drum Unit. See
“Replacing the Drum Unit”.
Replace drum The drum unit has reached
the end of its life. Replace the drum unit. See
“Replacing the Drum Unit”.
Toner is low The Toner sensor detected
"toner low" status. Replace the toner cartridge.
Out of toner The Toner sensor detected
"toner end" status. Replace the toner cartridge.
Power failure The power has been turned
off during an operation or a
document in memory has
been lost. Review the Power Failure
List.
Control panel open The control panel is open Close the control panel
Top cover is open The top cover is open Close the top cover.
Document jam A document jam occurred. Open the control panel and
remove the document.
Paper jam XX A piece of paper has been
misfed. "xx" specifies the cause of the
paper jam. See the paper jam
error code table.
Paper Tray is empty All paper trays are empty. Add paper to the paper trays
and ensure the trays are
closed correctly.
Upper paper empty The upper paper tray is
empty. Add paper to the upper paper
tray and close the tray
correctly.
