Installing the Wireless LAN Mini PCI Card
To install the wireless LAN Mini PCI card, follow the steps below and refer to Figure 4-31.
1. Fit the wireless LAN Mini PCI card’s connector into the computer’s connectors and
press it carefully to ensure firm contact.
CAUTION: Do not touch the connectors on the wireless LAN Mini PCI card or on the
computer. Debris on the connectors may cause the card to malfunction or to get
damaged.
2. Gently, push the wireless LAN Mini PCI card down until latches on either side
engage the card to hold it in place.
3. Connect two antenna coaxial cables with the appropriate color to the proper
connectors on the wireless LAN Mini PCI card.
4. Secure the antenna coaxial cable with one strip of tape.
